The Mankato Metro continues to see large job gains. June employment figures were released by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development on Thursday and show the Mankato – North Mankato Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) gained 2,535 jobs, or 4.5-percent year-over-year. Greater Mankato Growth crunched the numbers that show the Mankato Metro led all MSA's for the sixth consecutive month. Goods Producing jobs grew by 3.7-percent to 10,806 and Service Providing jobs were up by 3.2-percent to 38,511.
