Blue Earth County is investing in a new Tax System that will cost a total of 1.6-million dollars over the next three years for services and software that Officials say will lead to savings due to functional efficiencies. North Mankato sets up revenue fund for Caswell Sports to track operations

North Mankato is establishing a special revenue fund for the Caswell Sports Complex, a move Officials say will help serve as a tool for the public and city to understanding operations at the growing facility. Since its inception in 1985, Caswell has mainly hosted summer events but operations have expanded to aid in putting on winter events such as the Anthony Ford Pond Hockey Tournament. North Mankato to bring back 2nd public comment period in April

When the North Mankato City Council meets next on April 2, the meeting will include a second public comment period. Last July, the Council implemented rules that limited public comment to only business items and established rules that required citizens to submit a request to the City if they wished to talk about an item not on the agenda.
