Unbelted driver injured in Le Sueur County crash, reportedly under the influence of alcohol

A Texas man was injured on Saturday in a crash on Highway 21 near the Rice and Le Sueur County line. According to the report, 45-year old Pedro Llanas was driving westbound when he crossed the centerline and struck a truck head on. Llanas suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. Troopers say Llanas was under the influence of alcohol and was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the truck, 54-year old Harold Alfred Manthey of Madison Lake was uninjured.
