Blue Earth County plans to split with State Auditor, hire own auditing firm in 2019

Blue Earth County has approved giving notification to Minnesota State Auditor Rebecca Otto that it plans to cut ties and hire its own auditor starting in 2019, a move that could save the County 20 to 25-thousand dollars a year.
