Injuries reported after semi rolls over on Highway 14 near Janesville

Injuries were reported following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 14 near Janesville on Monday afternoon. Photo taken by Annette Weston, KTOE News. Authorities responded to a call that a semi rolled over on Highway 14 at 50th Street and a car was involved in the incident. Scanner audio indicated that the semi driver needed to be extricated from the vehicle. KTOE News will have more on this story as it becomes available.

A semi driver suffered minor injuries on Wednesday morning after the vehicle rolled-over on the westbound Highway 14 ramp to southbound Highway 169. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 30-year old Corey Ray Ehlers of Winnebago was pulling a livestock trailer full of hogs when he lost control of the semi. The vehicle then rolled off the ramp at 10:07 a.m. Ehlers suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the scene. Semi driver injured after vehicle jackknifes on Highway 14 in Mankato

A semi driver was injured on Friday morning after the vehicle hydroplaned on Highway 14 in the Mankato metro. According to the report, the unnamed 66-year old man from Savage was driving a Freightliner eastbound near the Highway 22 exit when he lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway. The semi entered the ditch and then jackknifed shortly after 9 a.m.  The Minnesota State Patrol has not released the extent of injuries the driver suffered.

Two semis crash on Highway 14 near New Ulm

Authorities report an accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Monday near New Ulm. According to scanner audio, two semis crashed on Highway 14 at State Highway 15. Minor injuries were reported. Officials say the semis were blocking the roadway. KTOE News will have more on this story as it becomes available.

Eden Prairie woman injured after crashing into semi on Highway 14

The Minnesota State Patrol reports a woman was hospitalized on Thursday morning after an accident six miles west of Waseca on Highway 14. Troopers report 24-year old Miranda Watson of Eden Prairie was driving south on 73rd Street when she failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into the side of a semi that was traveling on Highway 14.  Watson was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato at 8:26 a.m. with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi, 60-year old Anthony Haugh of Easton was uninjured.

Man hospitalized after crashing into semi near Madelia

A Madelia man was injured Tuesday afternoon in an accident on Highway 60 in Blue Earth County. The Minnesota State Patrol reports the crash occurred at 4:38 p.m., five miles east of Madelia when 35-year old Joshua Steven Schoener rear-ended a semi near the intersection with 478th Avenue.   Schoener sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Madelia Hospital. Troopers say the driver of the tractor-trailer, 32-year old Joshua Eric Gray of Madelia was uninjured.

New Ulm man airlifted to Minneapolis following accident on Highway 14

A New Ulm man was airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center following an accident Wednesday morning on Highway 14 in New Ulm. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 34-year old Gary Lee Lienig was stopped on County Road 37 when he went to make a left turn on westbound Highway 14 shortly before 8 a.m. A semi traveling eastbound on Highway 14 failed to stop at the stop sign and struck the Ford truck that Lienig was driving. Kasota man hospitalized after accident with semi

The Minnesota State Patrol reports a Kasota man was transported to the hospital on Saturday after crashing his Buick into a semi. According to the report, 87-year old Clinton Charles Gunderson was stopped at Le Sueur County Road 21, attempting to cross over Highway 22 shortly before noon. Gunderson pulled out in front of a tractor-trailer and the vehicles collided in the Kasota Township. Gunderson suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato. The driver of the semi, Meril Kohl of Williamsburg, Ohio was uninjured.

Winona man charged in stolen semi pursuit

A Winona man is accused of leading police on a chase in a stolen semi that went on for 50 miles through at least seven Minnesota communities. A criminal complaint charging Michael Kronebush with assault with a dangerous weapon and fleeing from police says he rammed the semi into squad cars at least twice during the pursuit. Authorities say the 42-year-old defendant was wearing a blue face mask and hat during the chase which reached speeds of nearly 70 mph. Mankato woman hospitalized following crash with semi

Troopers report a Mankato woman was taken to the hospital on Monday night after colliding with a semi at the Highway 22 and Madison Avenue roundabout. According to the report, 67-year old Deann Marie Friedrichs was driving eastbound when she struck the side of the tractor-trailer. Friedrichs suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato. Officials say the driver of the semi was not injured. The accident was reported at 7:10 p.m.
