Local farms over 150-years old recognized by Farm Bureau

The Minnesota Farm Bureau is recognizing thirty-seven farms over 150-years old across the state. On Thursday, the recipients of the Sesquicentennial Farm award for 2018 were announced with a number of them in the KTOE listening area. In Blue Earth County, the Gerard and Julie Bach farm will be recognized and was established in 1867 near Minnesota Lake. The lone recipient in Brown County was Eric and Shari Moll of New Ulm for their family farm established in 1865.
