Police say a teenager that fired a gun several times Sunday during a road rage incident in Butterfield was drunk.

The incident began when a man saw 19-year-old Dylan Krueger of Mountain Lake speeding through a neighborhood and yelled at him to slow down because there were children in the area, and the victim says Krueger displayed a handgun and drove away.

The man followed Krueger and found him stopped on 5th Street South and that’s where he told investigators that Krueger fired several shots from the driver’s side window before getting out of the car and putting the gun to the other man’s temple and asked if he wanted a bullet in his head. The criminal complaint shows Krueger then fired another shot into the ground and drove away.

Police arrested him at his home and say he blew a .20 on a breath test. Krueger is charged with making threats and assault with a dangerous weapon, both felonies, and misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and underage drinking.
