A new study ranked all 50 states from the most to least educated places in the U.S.
The rankings are based on 18 different factors including the percentage of people with high school diplomas, college degrees, and graduate degrees . . . school quality . . . graduation rates . . . and test scores.
Based on all of that, the 10 most educated states in the U.S. are: Massachusetts . . . Maryland . . . Connecticut . . . Vermont . . . Colorado . . . Virginia . . . New Jersey . . . New Hampshire . . . Minnesota . . . and Washington.
And the 10 least educated are: West Virginia . . . Mississippi . . . Louisiana . . . Arkansas . . . Alabama . . . Kentucky . . . Oklahoma . . . Nevada . . . South Carolina . . . and New Mexico.
