A teen is facing charges in Blue Earth County after Authorities investigated a theft from a garage in May.

A witness reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in the alley of a Mankato residence that backed up towards the garage on the evening of May 9. Approximately 700-dollars worth of tools and other items were taken from the garage.

According to court documents, the witness captured a photo of the vehicle that was later traced back to 19-year old Tanner Allan Spooner of Mankato. Police say Spooner allegedly admitted to driving 28-year old Justin Scarbrough and 22-year old Kody Roberts-Wall, both of Mankato, to the garage, but claimed that Roberts bought the tools from his landlord.

Spooner is charged with Felony 3rd Degree Burglary and Gross Misdemeanor Theft.

Scarbrough and Roberts-Wall were charged last week in the incident and face counts that include Felony 3rd Degree Burglary. Both are currently being held in the Blue Earth County jail on other charges.
