Further investigation into the allegation of a threat directed at the Cleveland Public School has been unsubstantiated.
Le Sueur County Sheriff Brett Mason says deputies responded to the school yesterday (Wed) morning after a report of a potential threat involving a gun. Deputies identified a potential suspect and spoke with that person at their home in the City of Cleveland.
Mason says the investigation revealed that the allegation could not be substantiated, and there appeared to be no type of criminal offense.
He added that the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office takes threats of violence very seriously and will continue to work to prevent such acts from occurring.
