A meeting on Thursday will detail upcoming construction planned for Highway 169 between St. Peter and Le Sueur.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says construction will begin April 30 and continue through October on the ten miles of northbound highway.
The project will resurface the highway, replace the northbound bridge over Robart’s Creek, and make some guardrail and culvert repairs. Crews will also add cable barrier in the median, and add lighting and electronic driver information signs.
No detour is planned but during construction, northbound and southbound Highway 169 traffic will be reduced to a single lane.
The open house is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the St. Peter Recreation Center.
