Thursday was the sixth straight day of lower COVID-19 positive cases in Minnesota but MDH Commissioner Jan Malcom says she doesn’t expect that to continue.
“We don’t expect that trend to continue because we have other indicators in the system that the total will be growing as we test more,” said Malcom.
In his press conference Wednesday, Governor Walz issued a similar sentiment
“It is going to get worse here before it gets better. That is an absolute guarantee,” said Walz.
The state did record a single-day high in COVID-19 deaths Thursday with 32 reported.
