A toddler is in the hospital after almost drowning in a retention pond in Olmsted County. Police say the incident occurred Wednesday in the backyard of a home in Stewartville. According to reports, the babysitter lost sight of the child and found him in the water. He was taken to a local hospital where he was placed in a medically-induced coma. No further details are available at this time.
