“It’s also possible there will be a federal court case about this, the question would be can you impeach a president when he is no longer president and out of office–is that Constitutional? Legal minds differ on that.”

Schier says if and when the impeachment gets to the Senate, it’s “pretty unlikely” that a third of Republicans in the Senate will vote to impeach Trump once he’s out of office.
