(Mower County, MN) — The National Weather Service says several tornadoes were spotted Tuesday night entering Mower and Fillmore Counties. The tornadoes moved into the southern part of the state from Iowa, with one confirmed by radar near Spring Valley. Radar also showed tornado activity near LeRoy and Adams, moving later into the southeast part of Fillmore County. Local spotters reported damage to several houses in Taopi and downed power lines in Spring Valley. The Mankato area saw high winds and ping ball size hail.
