Four vehicles were involved in a crash on Highway 22 near Beauford Sunday morning. According to the State Patrol, 85-year-old Glenn Pettit of Delavan was southbound on Highway 22. Another vehicle, driven by 43-year-old Tara Geisthardt of Mapleton was also southbound. Two other vehicles, were northbound. They were driven by Erika Abdo of Minnesota Lake and 47-year-old Jenny Krosschell of Wells. The patrol says the four vehicles collided. Pettit and his 83-year-old passenger have life threatening injuries. Everyone was wearing seatbelts and no alcohol was involved. Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, Mapleton Police and Fire, Good Thunder Fire, Minnesota Lake Ambulance and Mayo Clinic Health System Ambulance all assisted on the scene.
