(Minneapolis, MN) — Two men are accused of trafficking fentanyl onto the Red Lake Indian Reservation earlier this year. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Christopher Richard and Leroy Varney allegedly helped distribute more than 40 grams of the synthetic opioid on the reservation in separate incidents. Richard has been charged with conspiracy and intent to distribute fentanyl. Varney faces a count of possession with intent to distribute the opioid.
