Two people are injured in a crash on Eastbound Highway 14 near Meriden Township in Steele County. According to the State Patrol, the vehicle, driven by 59-year-old Terry Wiseman of Brooklyn Park, was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 when his vehicle left the roadway and collided with a parked vehicle on a private property nearby. Wiseman and his passenger, 49-year-old Linda Mortensen, also of Brooklyn Park, both received non-life threatening injuries. They both were wearing seatbelts. The Patrol says alcohol was detected in the driver but not the passenger. The crash happened Saturday just after 6 p.m. Road conditions were listed as dry at the time of the crash. Owatonna Police, Steel County Sheriff, Mayo Ambulance and Owatonna Fire assisted the patrol on the scene.
