Two men are facing numerous charges after Mankato Police pulled over a vehicle and the driver was reportedly under the influence of cocaine.
Court documents say 19-year old Amnabear Omot Nyigwo was pulled over on April 20 and an Officer smelled marijuana emitting from the vehicle. During a search, the suspect reportedly fled on foot but was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.
Authorities say they located 6-grams of marijuana, 18-grams of cocaine and prescription pills during the search of the suspects.
Nyigwo is facing seven charges that include Felony 3rd Degree Possession of Drugs and Misdemeanor Felling from Police.
The other man in the vehicle, 22-year old Garett James Eggersdorfer of North Mankato is facing three Felony charges that include 3rd Degree Possession of Drugs.
According to the report, both men admitted to purchasing between 650 and 680-dollars worth of narcotics earlier that evening.
Earlier this year Nyigwo was charged for harboring a man who had stolen a vehicle.
