(Washington, DC) — U.S. House Republicans appear to be targeting Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar in response to Democrats’ efforts to oust Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene from her House committees. Democrats have introduced a resolution to remove Taylor Greene because of recent controversial statements, and the House is set to vote on it today. However, multiple Republicans want to add an amendment that would also remove Omar from her committee assignments. It’s unclear how they’ll move forward.
