A Lake Crystal woman escaped serious injury Friday morning after losing control of her vehicle on Highway 60 near Waterville.

According to the report, 22-year old Allyson Kaye Ebbinga was driving eastbound around a curve when she lost control on the gravel shoulder, overcorrected, and went off the road. The State Patrol says the Chevy Malibu went to the left and hit two power poles at 8:17 a.m. 

Ebbinga suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System- Mankato.

Troopers report the woman was not wearing a seatbelt.
