A COVID-19 vaccine is expected to be available to some health care workers by the end of the year. Eric Weller with Blue Earth County Emergency Management says it will take a while for all health care workers and those most vulnerable to be vaccinated.
“It will not be enough,” said Weller. “This will not be an overnight process. It will take months to do. But I truly believe we will see a vaccine by the end of the year.”
Weller says the vaccine being available this quickly is definitely a positive sign.
