Geocaching is an increasingly popular modern-day treasure hunt that uses a Global Positioning System receiver or even a cell phone to find trinkets and goodies that other geocachers have hidden, by using GPS coordinates posted on the web.

VINE Faith in Action has partnered with Minneopa State Park Naturalist Scott Kudelka to teach people how to geocache.

The class is Monday at Minneopa State Park from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. It’s free for VACC members and open to the public for $5. A state park permit is required on all vehicles at the park as well.
