Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says phase two of the state’s re-opening will begin June first.
“It’s going to allow outdoor dining at restaurants and bars and the opening to salons and barbershops with limited capacity,” said Walz.
Walz says following the health guidelines is the key to getting the economy back going.
“The health guidelines aren’t an impediment to re-opening the economy, they’re the key to re-opening the economy”, said Walz. “For example, in Georgia restaurant reservations are at 15 percent of what they were. Consumers won’t come back unless it’s safe.”
Walz says at restaurants tables will be limited to four people per setting, or a family of six, and a venue capacity of 50.
