(St. Paul, MN) — As Minnesota nears the 70-percent vaccination target for those over 65, Governor Tim Walz is expected to discuss the next steps for the vaccination program today. At a press conference at 9:30 a.m., the governor will appear alongside health officials to talk about the expansion of vaccine distribution in the state. It could be just several days before the next priority group is opened up, meaning those with high-risk conditions and some essential workers. Summer is still when the general public is expected to get access to the vaccine.
