“Great idea” and “right thing to do,” says Governor Tim Walz about a national mask mandate — although President-elect Joe Biden pulled back from his initial plan saying he will, as one of his first official acts as president,   ask Americans to voluntarily commit to 100 days of mask-wearing. Governor Walz says:

“That fits pretty well with the timeline of what you would see, where we would have a good number of people vaccinated, where we would have a good handle on this.”
