Reform school funding… expand opportunities for students of color and indigenous students, and for students in Greater Minnesota… build the most qualified and diverse teaching workforce in the nation — objectives of the “Due North” education plan Governor Tim Walz laid out.

“This needs to be the best state in the country for a child to grow up — brown, white, black, indigenous.”

Republican state Representative Ron Kresha from Little Falls says the governor’s plan “lacks any meaningful reforms to raise academic achievement” and is “crafted by organizations that have obstructed progress and choices for students and families.”
