In a week that saw multiple states in the U-S remove many COVID-19 related restrictions, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz remains committed to staying the course he’s laid out in reaction to the virus.

“Being able to go to ballgames, being able to go into restaurants, being able to do most all of the things you do, my hope is here by the end of early spring and summer, we’re doing that.”

Walz pointed specifically to a decline in daily death reporting from MDH as a reason for his optimism that the situation will improve.
