(St. Paul, MN) — Governor Tim Walz is scheduled to talk this afternoon (Monday 12:30 p-m) about his trip to Kuwait to visit more than 100 Minnesota National Guard members. The governor’s office says Walz met with the National Guard’s 3-47th Regional Support Group and members of the 1-47th R-S-G Human Resources Company. In a statement, Walz says, “while many Minnesotans will gather with family and friends this holiday season, there are many others who have chosen to sacrifice time with their loved ones to protect us.” The governor called it “my honor” to spend time with the service members serving our country in Kuwait.
