Mankato Police were sent to Eastwood Mobile Home Park Saturday night when a woman called 9-1-1 after finding a stranger inside her trailer.

“She gave a description, indicating that this woman was wearing a dress of hers from inside the mobile home,” said Commander Dan Schisel.

Schisel said 37-year-old Tanya Lieder of New Ulm, “Located a key to the residence that was hidden outside and was able to make it inside. It appears that she also left her purse there, identifying her at the scene. She had been going through the closet and also had some of her jewelry on.”

Lieder was wearing the dress and jewelry when Schisel said police caught up with her nearby, crouching behind a parked car.

She is charged with burglary, theft, and property damage.
