(Hermantown, MN)  —  Three people are dead after a small plane crashed into a Minnesota home early yesterday morning.  The Cessna 172 slammed into the second floor of a house west of Duluth around midnight, killing a woman and two men on board.  The homeowners were sleeping inside at the time of the crash and narrowly escaped without injury.  They reported that one of the airplane’s wheels ended up next to their bed.  The Federal Aviation Commission and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
