Taylor Swift has just released her remake of her album, Fearless. The rerecording of the album came after Scooter Braun’s 2019 purchase of Big Machine Records. After he acquired the company, he went on to sell the rights to Swift’s first six albums, the deal being valued at over $300 million.
The new version has been highly anticipated by fans as the aritst has promised to go through and redo all six of the albums that she lost the rights to. On top of the original soundtrack, she has also added six previously unreleased songs to the album, being labeled as coming from the “Vault”.
Although the album sounds pretty similar, fans find it important to stream the newer version as the profits go back to Swift instead of Scooter Braun.
